I don’t think Simon is the king of mean…he’s just brutally honest. And he can be too blunt in the way he expresses his opinion, both on BGT and on American Idol. But I think he does it with the intention of getting people to improve their performances.
And it would have been AWESOME if Oprah would have had Susan Boyle fly into Chicago for her show all the way from Scotland!! That would have been quite a show.

simon cowell is one off the best judge and a good judge could not always be kind as judge you must say the truth thats why hes judging on american idol bgt and x-factor
